Tonight’s games with Byers were part of a week long effort- Officials Against Cancer. Our area of officials had the goal of raising $3000, which typically comes in the form of donations from officials as well as from spectators at the games this week. Today’s crowd donated $550 to the cause! Big thank you to both Byers and Burlington spectators today, this is awesome!

Burlington High School- Updated Tardy Policy
To more closely align our current tardy policy with workplace standards and fundamental life skills, the following criteria will be followed for the remainder of the Spring 2026 Semester. Although we encourage parents/guardians to communicate with the school office concerning late arrivals so that we can effectively track students, there is no longer a difference between excused or unexcused tardiness.
Students that return during a class period with a professional health care document (note) will NOT be counted as tardy.
Students will be held accountable for tardies with the following criteria:
-5 Tardies- Lunch Detention
-10 Tardies- Lunch Detention
-15 Tardies- In School Suspension and Parental/Guardian Contact
-20 Tardies- In School Suspension and Attendance Contract Required
-Every additional 5 tardies will result in ISS.
-The tardy count will restart every semester.
-Building/District administration has the right to override the policy based upon extenuating circumstances (medically verified leave, verified bereavement, etc.).
