The Duct Tape the Teacher Fundraiser at BMS done by Student Council was a success. Mr. Deubler and Mrs. Pimentel's jars raised the most money and we would like to give them a special shout out for being good sports while we taped them to the wall!

The Sophomores and Freshman classes along with Ms. Williams, Mrs. Keeler and Mr.and Mrs. Sharp attended the Smithsonian Institution Special Exhibit called Crossroads: Change in Rural America at the Old Town Museum. Some of the BHS students wrote cards that were displayed at the exhibit and one student had artwork displayed. The exhibit focuses on how Americans came together at the crossroads, And how they invested in places and built their futures where their paths crossed. It also focused on how commerce and hard work and hard times shaped the story of rural America. Students spent about an hour and a half exploring the exhibit and touring the 21 buildings at Old Town. It was a great experience and the sponsors would like to thank Nikki Wall and the Old Town Staff for the nice visit. It was a Great Day to Be a Cougar!!!
