CDE is advising districts and schools to alert families of 9th-11th grade PSAT/SAT students about recent cases of telemarketing fraud, where scammers impersonate College Board representatives and ask for payment for student tests. The College Board does not make unsolicited phone calls to students or families requesting this type of information. Districts are strongly encouraged to send a message to families as soon as possible to alert them of this issue, as this has taken place in the state of Colorado this year.
