Parents, the Department of Human Services is helping host training for Parents, Students and Community members on how to protect yourself from Human Trafficking. The student training will take place in "The Pit" at the high school on Thursday October 30th at 9am. The district is happy to host this training as our students will benefit greatly from the information intended to help students protect themselves by making themselves less susceptible. The student training is for grades 7th through 12th grade. You will need to contact the front office of the high school or middle school to get an opt out form if you do not wish for your student to participate in the training.

Burlington Elementary kicked off Homecoming Week with a bright start! Students showed their school spirit by wearing neon colors for “Don't Go Overboard!” The halls were glowing with excitement and creativity as everyone dressed in their brightest outfits to celebrate the first day of Homecoming Week!

Powderpuff football has been canceled tonight. We will expand the Ironman volleyball game to include girls. For those wanting to play volleyball, please report to the Pit at 6:30pm, with games beginning at 6:45pm. There will be 8 teams in bracketed play: 9th girls, 9th boys, 10th girls, 10th boys, 11th girls, 11th boys, 12th girls, 12th boys.

JV Football with Yuma today has been canceled.

BMS Reminder: tomorrow is the start of homecoming week and dress up days! Tomorrow we kick off the week with Beach Bash. Dress like you're going to the beach. Keep it school appropriate and no swimsuits please. Tuesday- Tropical Tourist. Dress like you're going on vacation. Wednesday- Stand Out or Hide Out. Wear bright neon colors or camo gear. Thursday- Tropic Like a Cougar. Show your Cougar Pride and wear red and black!
