Dear BMS Parents,
We are excited to celebrate our students’ academic success with a field trip to the Colorado Rockies game on Wednesday, May 20th! Please review the important trip details below:
• Parent sponsors who are driving should arrive at BMS by 8:30 AM to pick up tickets and parking passes.
• Buses will depart from BMS at 9:00 AM. First pitch is at 1:10 PM.
• Students will receive a sack lunch to eat on the bus.
• Each student will also receive a food voucher for a hot dog and small drink at the game.
• Please note that Coors Field is cashless for any additional purchases.
• We plan to leave the stadium around 5:00 PM (or earlier) and return to BMS that evening.
• Students are encouraged to bring extra snacks for the ride home. Snacks will remain on the bus during the game.
• Additional information, including Coors Field’s bag policy, is included below.
Reminder: Students must continue meeting behavior expectations leading up to the trip in order to attend.
Thank you for your support! We are looking forward to a fun and memorable day for our students.

Next week is a busy and exciting final week at BMS! Please check out the schedule below for all of next week’s events including the Capture the Flag Tournament, Wax Museum, Rockies game, awards assemblies, 8th Grade Promotion, and last day of school activities. We’re looking forward to a great finish to the school year!

Throughout his time in Burlington, Mr. Steach has also been actively involved outside the classroom by coaching Knowledge Bowl, supporting Gifted and Talented programs, coaching golf, and serving as an assistant softball coach. His commitment to students and school activities has touched the lives of countless students and staff members over the years.
Please join us in congratulating Mr. Steach on a remarkable career and wishing him all the best in his well-deserved retirement!

HOSA-future health professionals sent four members on an exciting adventure to JCC Ranch Camp in Elbert for Camp Ignite.
I- Integrity
G- Growth mindset
N- Nurturing
I- Inspiration
T- Team building
E- Empathy
Through powerful small group discussions, team-building challenges, service projects, and core value development (Learn. Lead. Serve. Innovate.), students worked on building the soft skills that employers in healthcare are desperately seeking.
Current state officers facilitated nearly every session, allowing campers to build relationships and see firsthand what student leadership looks like in action.
It was a wonderful weekend of learning, collaboration and leadership that our students won’t soon forget.
