Burlington Public Schools is striving to provide our students with a quality educational experience. Our dedicated staff works diligently to ensure that all students have the opportunity to learn and succeed in the classroom.
Our instructional staff has written Essential Learning Targets for their grade level or content they teach. The process is comprehensive, as each teacher has identified what is truly essential for the students to know to move onto the next grade or class. Today we are refining the Essential Learning Targets that have been written and meeting with teachers in grades above and below them to ensure that the Essential Learning Targets are articulated in a proper scope and sequence.
Burlington Public Schools also has a wide variety of extra-curricular activities available for students. We offer a full range of interscholastic sports, band, drama, publications (newspaper and annual), Spanish Club, FFA, FBLA, Student Leadership, and National Honor Society.
