NHS

The members of NHS have been raffling cakes during the home basketball games and wrestling matches. The money raised is used for the NHS scholarship.

FFA

The National FFA Association also has a very busy semester ahead of them. In January the organization will be visiting the National Western Stock Show in Denver.

Smart Kids, Smart Choices

SMART Kids, SMART Choices is a student-created organization that promotes smart/informed decisions when it comes to drug/alcohol use as well as the day-to-day choices faced by the majority of today’s students. We are a grant-funded organization that promotes good decision-making through events such as Red Ribbon Week and National Smoke-Out Day. The organization sponsors/promotes five activities a year—including manning a booth during the KCC Fair—and meets on a monthly basis. (S.M.A.R.T. = Students Motivated to Act Responsibly and Thoughtfully)

Spanish Club

The Spanish Club has been very active this year. Most recently members are selling food to hungry students during activity period. The club is planning a trip and several other activities for later in the year.

Strive (Check out our Scavenger Hunt Pictures)

The Gifted and Talented students have grouped together this year and they are looking forward to Ultimate Scavenger Hunt in March when they work with other young people to build critical thinking and leadership skills.
