Dear Parents,

        Welcome!  I’ve had a wonderful time getting to know each and every one of my unique students this week!  I can tell this is going to be an exciting year for all of us! 
I thank you all for coming out to “Meet the Teacher” night.  It is highly important for me to meet all of my classroom parents so that we start the year off right with positive communication.  I know you are as committed as I am to seeing that your child gets off to a great start this year!  For that reason, I have gathered a few handouts for you to review.  In this packet you will find my expected classroom behaviors, rewards and consequences, homework policy, daily schedule, and ideas on how you can help your child extend his/her learning at home.  Please support me by reviewing my classroom rules and homework policy with your child.
I will look forward to hearing from you if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s education.  The best time to reach me is before school, during specials (8:15-9:15), or during my lunch hour (12:00-12:40).  I welcome phone calls to my home in the evenings. J
